Welcome

Welcome to the Bolivar Intermediate School music page.  It is my hope that you will use this page to keep yourself informed of all Intermediate School music events and concerts.  I will also try to keep you updated on what your child is learning in general music class each month during the school year.  This page should be especially helpful for parents of singer and ringers.  Use the ringer and singer link above to find all your accompaniment tracks for each semester.  You will also need to use the schedule on the left for all performances for those groups. 

My goal is to help your child develop a life-long appreciation of music!  We will explore all genres of music including everything from classical to rock.  We will sing, dance, play instruments, and learn the fundamentals of music.

Intermediate School Vocal Music (Grades 3-5)

Kris McClard
2002-

Kris McClard has been teaching music at Bolivar since 2002 and is starting her 19th year of teaching.  She spent her first three years in Bolivar teaching K-2 vocal music and is now the Music Director at Bolivar Intermediate School.  Mrs. McClard earned her Bachelors degree in Music and Elementary Education from Southeast Missouri State University and her Master's degree in Curriculum Education from Rockford College, Rockford, Illinois.  Her husband, Steve McClard, is the Director of Bands at Bolivar High School.  Mrs. McClard also has two sons, Andrew and Parker.
